How to remove sticky labels on the glass bottles easily (Baking sodaand oil)? The best way

According to MNN I removed the sticky labels on the bottles easily, but it is not easy to clean the bottles after that because it is so oily. So I reduced the oil, and it is easy to clean after I take the labels out.

Here is the way I did.
I mixed 1 baking soda and 1/2 oil, and it is not easy to apply the mixture to the bottle.

So I pour a little bit of oil into the mixture until the mixture becomes smooth like the picture below.

Apply it on the bottles, and set them aside overnight.

It is easy to clean it.
