Stewed beef cubes with bread

Trying to cook stewed beef that I always failed when I made it before. Then, it turned out so delicious that I could not complain about it anymore. I got the recipe from a person who is really kind. The recipe looks simple, but it tasted awesome. Sometimes, the simple is always the best.

 Ingredients:
For marinating (the first step)
1 lb of cubed beef.
1/2  bag of stewed beef  mixed spice 
1 tbs of tomato paste
1 tbs minced shallot
1 tbs minced garlic (optional)
1 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt

For cooking (the second step)
1 cup of baby carrots
1 tbs olive oil
1/2  bag of stewed beef  mixed spice 
1 tbs minced shallot
1 tbs minced garlic (optional)
5 of 3-inch long lemongrass 
1 tbs of tomato paste
1 can of coconut water. 
1 cup of water

Direction:
Marinating beef
Mix all ingredients of the first step in a mixing bowl. Set it aside 30 minutes or an hour.

Cooking
- Stirring the baby carrot with a little of olive oil in 1 minute, do not fry them for too long, their color might be changed. Pour them into a bowl.
- Frying the 1 tbs minced shallot and 1 tbs minced garlic (optional) until you smell the fragrance from them, adding 5 of the 3-inch long lemongrass, stir them well. Then, add 1/2  bag of stewed beef mixed spice and 1 tbs of tomato paste. Stirring them well.
- Put the marinated beef into the pan, and stir until the juice of beef comes out.
- Put the stirred carrots into the pot.
- Pour 1 can of coconut water and 1 cup of water into the pan, stew one and a half hour. 

Done! Serve the Stewed beef cubes with bread, or rice, or noodles.
